Bungalow Revival
Green Lake - Seattle, WA

Our client had purchased this bungalow in Seattle's Greenlake neighborhood because of it's great location, but it was desperately in need of an upgrade.

The home was completely gutted to allow installation of all new utilities as well as computer and media wiring. Walls were removed and rooms combined to provide a sense of openess.

Now, ceiling treatments and lighting design help to define these spaces without enclosing them. The existing fireplace was refaced and augmented with all new cabinetry and a 52" plasma screen. Two small upstairs bedrooms and a small bathroom were converted into a large master suite. Existing collar ties were left in place adding visual interest and allowing for an additional window for more natural light.

A new deck on the back of the home provides a great venue for barbeques on warm evenings.
